Welcome to Generous Heart Meditation Center & Sangha
Generous Heart offers meditators an opportunity to sit and practice and develop good foundational habits that will benefit you in your meditation practice no matter what your current level of realization. We follow the Buddhist Elephant Path, also known as the Nine Stages of Staying, wherein we learn to balance focusing on our breathing, posture, and thoughts leading to deepening concentration and a calm mind. Response to our opening has been kind and generous and all classes are full at this point.
Classes are held on Sunday mornings from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. Cushions and zafus (as well as chairs) are provided. Sittings are approximately 20 minutes in length with time in-between sittings to discuss your practice.
